CQC app for iPhone and iPad

CQC is a construction quality control inspection resource. Based on the Construction Specification Institutes CSI Master Format, the application contains 50 Sections and 1,903 valuable inspection items organized by CSI Section numbering.

This app proves a useful resource tool for those working in the construction industry in the capacity of CQC-Contractor Quality Control, CQM-Construction Quality Management, QCM-Quality Control Manager, QA-Quality Assurance Rep, Superintendent, Project Manager or a Trade Subcontractor proactively aware of the multiple trade requirements.

From the app Users can add “+” own custom inspection items, delete unnecessary inspection items, add more than one project, include 3-Phase Inspection DFOW-definable features of work, plus export to a PDF form in addition to .csv.

PDF reports can be exported directly as Full Inspection Reports or categorized as Preparatory, Initial or Follow-Up Inspections. Following Preparatory and Initial inspections, the app will disable those inspection items on Users project list in order to eliminate redundant follow-up inspections.

The compilation is by trade-specific industry professionals (in the USA), not specific to any local or national code in order to eliminate regional application issues. It is organized to allow scrolling quickly and numerically. Usability is aimed at allowing the user to streamline individual benefit by deleting either whole sections or unique items within a section that do not pertain to their job. That user customization is persistently retained until the user chooses to revert to the master list preserved on the device. As well, data can be gathered on a daily basis and checked off to indicate an inspection has happened. Inspection data that has been checked within a section can then be exported via email with available email account and connectivity. Checked items are maintained as checked until either unchecked, deleted or the revert-to-master function is initiated.

About Updates: This version has a substantial amount of data related to a full range of common trades AND it will be continually expanded upon to dynamically address the comprehensive scope of construction trades and current codes.
